Our names are Frederikke and Simone, and we want to make it easy for menstruators to live sustainably during their period. In 2019, we first talked about our shared frustration with the lack of sustainable sanitary pads on subscription. This quickly developed into a promise to change the consumption of personal hygiene products and make it easy to live sustainably. We developed Mewalii to replace plastic-based sanitary pads with an environmentally friendly alternative that looks like an ordinary sanitary pad. At the same time, we want to make things as easy as possible for you by posting the products on subscription – a possibility we have always dreamed about ourselves.

We were frustrated with panicky last-minute purchases and toilet paper as an emergency solution. That’s why it’s important for us to design a solution where you always have what you need – when you need it. We are all menstruators. No one should go through life feeling out of place.
